The Challenge
Human trafficking networks often operate in the shadows, leveraging legitimate business services to facilitate illicit activities. Dark Watch needed to quickly identify hotspots and high-risk entities, present risk scores in a user-friendly manner, and give stakeholders an efficient way to explore data and take corrective action—all without overburdening teams or losing sight of critical security protocols.
Our Role
Holistic Discovery & Strategy: We led roadmapping sessions to clarify feature requirements and ensure alignment with Dark Watch’s humanitarian and commercial objectives.
Data Scraping & Integration: By incorporating custom scraping technologies, we built a pipeline to gather information from disparate sources and unify it into a single, coherent dataset.
UX/UI Design & Visualization: We created interactive dashboards and visual interfaces that streamline complex data, enabling stakeholders to assess risk at a glance.
LLM Prototype: To expedite insight generation, we developed and tested a large language model interface, allowing users to query the dataset in natural language and receive targeted responses.
