Overview
Under SBIR Topic N241-011, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) sought an advanced threat environment solution to enhance mission readiness. On one end, the NAVAIR team aimed to elevate pilot training scenario generation; on the other, they sought to supercharge after-action reports for deeper, more targeted analysis.
Partnering with Knexus for their AI/ML expertise, LGNDX provided the user experience (UX), interface design, and interactive technology that turned complex data outputs into actionable insights.
The Challenge
NAVAIR needed an adaptable system capable of simulating diverse threat scenarios and large-scale data streams. The solution required robust AI/ML analytics paired with an intuitive, user-centric interface so operators could efficiently interpret results and respond to emergent conditions.
With legacy systems, scenario generation and after-action reports are labor intensive and cumbersome, but AI/ML and an intuitive interface provided the opportunity to save end-users time, create better scenarios, and maximize the the capabilities of massive data streams from training.
Our Role
UX & UI Development: We designed an intuitive front-end that visualizes key scenario data points and streamlines user workflows for scenario adaptation.
Interactive Technology: Working alongside Knexus’s AI/ML engine, our team integrated data flows into dashboards, ensuring seamless access to high-fidelity insights.
